Chris opens the class by inviting you to settle in, breathe through your nose, and treat the holds like a place to soften rather than endure. The practice moves from a gentle side-to-side floor warmup into long, supported yin shapes — a passive chest opener, wide-legged forward fold, child’s pose, hip openers, a twist, and a long final breath practice before Shavasana. The tone stays very encouraging and adaptable, with lots of options for props, knees, shoulders, and neck, so you can make it as quiet or as stretchy as your body needs.
