Friday Night Unwind
Unwind from your week, and recharge for the weekend in this balanced yoga class. Each class will begin with a short meditation and some philosophical food for thought, followed by a physical warm up and joint mobilization exercises. Then, we will move into an accessible and energizing sequence to help metabolize stress, clear away lethargy, and release mental baggage from the week. Next, you will be guided into longer-held, restorative poses to target and release deep myofascial tension, and allow the nervous system to re-balance.
Focus will be placed on the journey inward. Classes will often include chanting to free up one’s inner voice and allow the healing vibration of sound to envelope the body.
