This class blends steady, beginner-friendly strength work with lots of supportive prop use, starting on the mat with resistance bands, blocks, and a focus on finding stability through the spine, hips, and shoulders. Karen layers in hamstring stretches, bridge variations, core work, seated band exercises, and standing balance practice with the chair, then eases it all down with figure-four, supported rest, and a long shavasana. It’s a calm, practical class with a clear emphasis on functional strength, posture, and moving with control rather than speed.
