Yoga for Active Aging with Karen • Wednesday February 11th, 2026
Karen starts this class with slow, full diaphragmatic breathing and an reclined warm-up before moving into a prop-supported strengthening flow. We work with resistance bands, a block, and a chair to support glute and leg conditioning, standing balances, core strengthening, all with a steady focus on functional strength.
The pace stays beginner-friendly and conversational, with lots of options to dial things up or down as needed. It finishes with a long, quiet reset in supported inversion, reclined bound angle, and a restful shavasana.
