Practical Pranayama – Part 2

Physiology and Practice of Breathing

With Chris Dunphy and Karen Andersen

Join Chris & Karen for a workshop that explores and explains ancient breathing practices in contemporary terms. Present day yoga practice is best known for the asana (posture) practice. The breathing practices, however, have been shown to have positive impacts in a variety of ways including but not limited to:

  • Stress related disorders
  • Improved cardiovascular health
  • Improves lung function
  • Improves mental concentration
  • Lowering blood pressure

In this workshop you will learn a set of breathing exercises to establish a foundation for regular self-guided practice.

If you missed Part One, you will be okay to attend as we will do a brief review.
