Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF)……. Now that’s a mouthful! Fortunately you don’t have to say it 10 times fast to receive the benefits of this type of stretching technique. In this class you will play with this technique which involves contracting the target muscle (area) right before you stretch that same area. PNF (thankfully that’s easier to say) has shown to improve flexibility and joint mobility more than stretching alone. Join Chris for this multi level flow yoga class. Some previous experience recommended and yoga blocks would be helpful.
