Yoga for Active Aging

An energizing, accessible yoga class focused on mobility, stability and nervous system regulation. Using weights, resistance bands and balance supports, this class blends functional movement, breathwork, balance practice, and active relaxation to promote vitality, mental clarity, and stress relief, supporting your physical and mental health now and for years to come.


What makes this class unique from our other classes:

  • Light weights and resistance bands will be incorporated for additional resistance, increasing strength and bone density.
  • No kneeling postures – ideal for those who have knee replacements or arthritic knees.
  • Seated poses may be practiced on the mat or in a chair for comfort and accessibility.
  • Standing and balance postures will incorporate functional movement exercises to increase fluidity of movement and stability.
