This class combines the freedom of movement with the calm and clarity of breathwork. We will practice a set of breathing exercises called the Four Purifications, interspersed through an alignment based posture practice. The Four Purifications come from the traditional Hatha Yoga repertoire of cleansing techniques, to prepare the body physically, energetically and mentally for deeper states of consciousness. They also serve to hone our mental focus, build core strength, and regulate the nervous system.
