Have you ever wanted to work on your arm balance postures in a way that will get you closer than you’ve ever gotten before or help you get stronger and more stable if you already have an arm balancing practice? Then this workshop is for you!

Sarka will break down the anatomy of each posture, build the strength and structure in your body required for each one, and then safely and effectively get you into poses you never thought you could. You will build strength, a deeper understanding of alignment and technique, and will most definitely surprise yourself!

In this workshop you will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of alignment and technique in arm balances
  • Practice preparatory and strengthening exercises for arm balances
  • A deeper understanding of the anatomy of arm balances and a healthy, safe yoga practice
  • Surprise yourself by getting closer to holding arm balances or holding them longer than you ever have before!
  • Have the opportunity to try out various arm balances – playfully and step by step.
  • The workshop will cover poses such as crow, crane, side crow, flying pigeon and more!

Sarka is grateful for the joy that yoga brings to her life and to the lives of so many. She is especially passionate to help evolve the practice of yoga to empower movement and balance amidst a modern lifestyle of technology and sedentariness.  

She completed her first alignment-based 200-hour YTT with Noah Maze, Ross Rayburn, and Christina Sell in 2013 and in 2020, an additional 200-hour in the LYT™ Yoga Method with Physical Therapist and yoga teacher Lara Heimann. Sarka is currently underway in the LYT™ 300-hour advanced training.
