Drum Circle

With Diana and Andrew Clark

A drum circle is an inclusive gathering that brings diverse people together through the unifying power of rhythm. With the help of our facilitators, participants will learn some basic djembe strokes and simple rhythms inspired by West African celebration songs. No previous music experience is necessary to play and have fun. Tap in to your innate sense of rhythm, feel the groove and enjoy the transformative energy of the drum circle!

If you have your own djembe or other hand drum, guiro or shaker, please bring it! Some percussion instruments will also be supplied. Snack and refreshments will be served too!

We recommend you pre-register for this event, but drop-ins are also welcome.

Open to all. Cash donations will be collected for SHARE Family & Community Services.
