Food and Yoga for Summer Self-Care

With Alissa Martin and Yassi Kazemi

Join Alissa and Yassi, for 2 hours of Self-Care. You’ll begin with a Yoga practice focussing on energizing and digestion, ending with Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation). Then you’ll learn to make and enjoy a green smoothie specifically for healthy skin and digestion. We’ll also serve energy balls, so you’ll leave feeling satisfied.

Feel free to bring your journal. Please let us know of any food sensitivities ahead of time.

You will learn:

– yoga postures for digestion and vitality
– benefits of mindfulness and Yoga Nidra
– foods to promote glowing skin and better digestion.
– smoothie recipe and benefits
– self love practices

Alissa Martin

Alissa was drawn to teaching Yoga through a fitness background and because she found it to be the treatment that worked best for her body after a car accident. It was also the adaptability of the practice that inspired her. She felt that the postures were open to interpretation, making them even more holistic. Even with alignment principles involved, she sees the beauty in the uniqueness of the individual practice.

Yassi Kazemi

Yassi is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (CNP) and RYT. Yassi’s goal is to inspire and guide you to go back to your roots, eat foods that make you feel amazing from the inside out, and provide you with ways to promote your wellbeing so that you can go out there and feel awesome.
