Learn the Basics of Postures and Breathing

Are you looking for insight into how-to’s of yoga postures and breathing? This workshop will help establish the foundation for an informed and healing yoga practice. Whether you are recovering from injury, trying to bring more ease to your daily activities, or working towards other personal wellness goals; an intentional and conscientious yoga practice can support better health and well-being. You will be learning with a group of beginners, you do not need to know anything about yoga!
In this workshop, you will learn:
- Healthy alignment of common yoga postures
- How to incorporate props into your practice
- Basic yogic breathing to relieve stress and focus your mind
- How to choose a yoga class to meet your needs
In-person at the studio, or online over Zoom.
For an extra $14, you will get two Yoga for Beginners videos for home practice. The first video offers detailed guidance into the foundational postures. The second video moves through them with less guidance for a more regular routine.
